While I have specialized in the ketogenic diet and teaching others how to implement a ketogenic diet since 2017, I have also helped others implement other forms of lifestyle changes that would better fit their lives and preferences. There is no one size fits all when it comes to weight loss, weight management, and/or overall health. The diet that works best, is the diet that you stick to and make into a lifestyle. Real results and change takes consistency. For you to be consistent, you need to enjoy the way you eat. When you enjoy the way you eat it is easier to sustain these changes which leads to results.

While keto has worked for me and thousands of others I have worked with over the years, others have found that keto then transitioning to low carb, high protein no sugar, or low-glycemic with each calorically appropriate to their body/goals/activity level to be what works best for them. Starting out with keto can be a great way of giving yourself a blank slate. You are focusing on whole foods and cutting out inflammatory foods as well as foods that make you crave more and provide less satiety. Then you can decide If you want to stay keto and continue on or transition to something that you feel will fit you better. Let’s be honest, you may have great results on keto and feel amazing, but you might say, I just want to have watermelon/popcorn or I want to have more room to eat within my calories but not stick to a certain ratio with my macros. If you can’t stick to something then it won’t be what is best for you. Instead of fighting that and setting yourself up to fail again and again, find what works for your preferences that you can stick with and build your plan around that.

This is why there is no one “best diet out there”. Every person has unique preferences, goals, and a different schedule. Your lifestyle changes need to be just as unique to make sure you are setting yourself up for success. Whether you are just starting out, have struggled for years to lose weight, are on GLP-1s, or looking to make a change without medication or surgery, we can find what works for you. During this 1 hour Zoom, I will work with you to figure out what works for you to help you achieve your goals. This will include custom calorie/macro calculations based on your body and activity level as well. We can go over how to implement this lifestyle change, the foods that would work best for you, and work together to meal plan a day or week together. The hour is yours, and you can determine how we utilize it to get the most out of it.
