Sweet and Sour Chicken



Sweet and Sour Chicken

Makes 4 Servings

1 serving: 290 calories, 9.7g fat, 3g carbs, 40.3g protein



1 Cup of Swerve (use 1/4-1/2 cup if you like things less sweet)

½ Cup of Apple Cider Vinegar

4 Tbsp of Soy Sauce

2 tsp of Garlic

½ tsp Onion Powder

½ tsp Chili Powder

1 tsp Sesame Seed Oil

¼ Cup Reduced Sugar Ketchup

¼ tsp Xanthan Gum



1.5lbs of Chicken Breast Diced

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp garlic powder

pepper to taste

2 Tbsp of Olive Oil


Pour Olive oil into a medium frying pan and cook chicken on medium high heat.

Sprinkle seasoning over the chicken as you stir.

Cook until chicken is cooked through then set chicken aside.

Next combine the ingredients for the sauce (minus the xanthan gum) in a large sauce pan and bring to a simmer.

Add the xanthan gum and stir until mixed well.

Combine the chicken into the sauce (add steamed broccoli too if you want).

Enjoy (try not to drink all the sauce hahah!!)
